Training Livery

This is ideal for any horse to develop correctly and for a long healthy future. For those newly backed very green horses emphasis will be on basic manners, standing at the mounting block, working in a relaxed manner, developing harmony with the rider and confidence when exposed to new surrounding such as hacks outside the arena. Each horse will be managed to your instructions in terms of feed and turnout routine initially. Where beneficial, changes may be made to achieve the best outcome for your horse and so that you can go home knowing the best strategy for your horses management and training. This could include tweaks to feeding or tack alterations for example.

The time spent training will be tailored to your horses age, experience and need. A young horse may be ridden more frequently but for less duration than an older stronger horse for example so an individual plan will be created after the initial assessment.

Goals will be agreed at the outset and a timescale discussed and this will require an assessment session and full disclosure of any behavioural or training issues.

All horses displaying any behavioural issues should be assessed by a vet before booking in to rule out lameness. This is advised to protect both the owner from financial loss and also Jasmines safety as a rider and trainer.

Competition Livery

For more established horses who are ready to go to a show and be competitive. Horses will be trained at home as per training livery but should be at a level of ride-ability where work is much more established and time can also be spent competing.

Owners must cover all extra costs such as entry fees, arena hires, external training, farrier and vet as well as rider fees to cover time off the yard dedicated to their horse.

Sales Livery

Acceptance of a horse on sales livery will be subject to a one week trial on training livery to fully assess suitability, temperament, soundness, behaviour and expected value of sale.

Disclosed quirks/ vices will not rule out a horse but it must be recognised that these will likely be reflected in the price especially if they cannot be improved.

The client agrees they are responsible for the sale of the horse and Jasmine will ride the horse, present the horse to look its best and prepare and host viewings of the horse. Jasmine will not guarantee a horse’s suitability for a buyer but will answer questions honestly based on her experience of the horse during its time here. All the above packages have the benefit of newly built large airy indoor stables, large automatic drinkers, use of the new international sized indoor arena with custom waxed surface, dressage boards or full set of show jumps, wash bay and solarium, quality haylage and bedding included.

For security there is also extensive CCTV on site and throughout the stables as well as owners living on site.

Horses enjoy excellent access to ample secure grazing and there is superb hacking from the yard which is ideal for strengthening work with some challenging hills.

The yard is situated in a peaceful rural location and has a relaxed atmosphere where horses are happy.
