Fleetwood Hall, Southport have skipped in to spring with a bounce in their step with a number of fun filled out door events already organised and taking place.
A number of our residents have a keen interest in fishing and this recent warm weather has provided ample opportunity for fishing days to take place nearby a tranquil canal close to Fleetwood Hall. The day created a lovely, relaxed environment for everyone to unwind and chat peacefully and more similar day trips are already arranged. For those who prefer to dabble in a bit of cookery, the staff team organised a baking day in they Sky Café where families and friends could come along and enjoy a taster of the delightful treats on offer.
Emma, our Activity Coordinator is always planning exciting events that are of interest to the residents at Fleetwood Hall, this includes smaller day to day activities as well as the planned day trips. These include trips to the local pubs around the Southport area, this provides independence and essential social experiences for residents. Residents have also recently started to attend the weekly disco in Birkdale on a Wednesday evening with our care team and swimming club will be up and running in the next few weeks!
